UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrives in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit

On October 23, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

The United Arab Emirates joined BRICS on 1 January following last year’s summit in South Africa. The UAE is one of the most dynamic developing countries in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East. The country considers its membership in BRICS as a strategic opportunity to expand trade and access new markets.
