Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi

On 22 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as a member of a Russian delegation is taking part in a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin the with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which is taking place on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Kazan.

According to results of the last year, the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Egypt grew by more than 8 times and made 217m dollars US, the first half of the current year demonstrating the growth of more than 10 times.

Tatarstan is interested in expanding deliveries of its petrochemical and machine-building products, automobiles and helicopters.  As many as 702 students study at universities of the republic.
