Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrives in Kazan to attend the BRICS Summit

On October 22, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who arrived to take part in the BRICS Summit, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia officially joined the BRICS on 1 January 2024. The decision to include the country in the association was made last August at the 15th summit in Johannesburg (South Africa).
