Russia and Tatarstan state wards handed in to the most outstanding residents of the republic in the Kazan Kremlin

On 11 October at a solemn ceremony held in the Kazan Kremlin the Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin handed in Russia and Tatarstan state awards to 47 residents of the republic, including productivity leaders, outstanding workers of culture and science, best teachers and doctors, representatives of the creative and research intelligentsia and old stagers.

Congratulating them with well-deserved awards on behalf of the leadership of the republic, Farid Mukhametshin said that the solemn honouring of outstanding residents of the republic has become a good tradition. “Handing in awards is the high assessment of your huge contribution into multi-faceted achievements of multi-ethnic Tatarstan. You are the vanguard of our society, productivity leaders and a role model for all residents of the republic”, he emphasized.

Having mentioned that this ceremony is taking place on the threshold of the large international event – the BRICS Summit to be held in Kazan on 22-24 October, the Chairman of the regional State Council handed in the awards to the most outstanding Tatarstan residents.
