Rustam Minnikhanov gives a number of errands at a traditional Saturday meeting in the Tatarstan Government House

On 28 September, speaking at a regional meeting held with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all employees and old stagers of the machine-building industry with their professional holiday – The Day of Machine-Building Worker which will be celebrated on 29 September and thanked them for decent results.

“This branch is represented by various industries in the republic and despite sanctions and due to the team work and the support of the Leadership of the country the machine-building industry introduces new developments, masters high tech produce and solves the set tasks,” he said and informed that the best representatives of the branch will be commended at a ceremonial event dedicated to the professional holiday to be held in Naberezhnyye Chelny.

Having said that the important date of reunion of the new regions with Russia (30 September 2022) is celebrated for the second year, the Rais of the republic gave an errand to ministries and directorates, heads of municipalities to ensure organization of topical events dedicated to this date. “We will also continue work in providing humanitarian aid to our supported cities of Lisichanks and Rubezhnoye,” he emphasized.

Speaking about International Day of Older Persons to be celebrated on 1 October, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Currently every fourth resident of the republic is an elderly person and there are 233 persons who are older than 100 years in Tatarstan. We should take care of the older generation.”

He gave an errand to organize honouring of old stagers at enterprises and organizations during the elderly people decade from 1 to 10 October, paying special attention to parents of participants of the special military operation and the fallen.
