Rustam Minnikhanov meets Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Russia Zhang Hanhui

On 24 September, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Russia Zhang Hanhui, who came on a working grip to Kazan as the head of a Chinese delegation, discussed issues of strengthening already existing and expansion of new business contacts, mutually beneficial cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that on 1 October China will celebrate the 75th birthday of its establishment and during this period the country has had great achievements. He also reminded that diplomatic relations between our countries also were established 75 years ago. “Leaders of our countries – Russia and China – are in constant touch and attach big attention to cooperation including that at the interregional level,” the Rais of the republic said.

The Chinese delegation headed by the Ambassador came to Kazan to take part in opening of an event of the youth dialogue “Opportunities of the BRICS” to be held in the House of Friendship of People of Tatarstan” on 25 September.
