Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Communication to take place in Kazan

From 26 to 27 September the City of Innopolis will host the 10th meeting of BRICS Ministers of Communication and the BRICS Digital Forum which will be organized within the framework of Russian’s presidency in BRICS. 

Representatives of state and business, digitalization experts and representatives of the educational community will take part in the Forum, the key topics of which are dedicated to AI, digital skills and the digital infrastructure.

The meeting of BRICS ministers is an annual event which considers issues of the development and broadening of branch cooperation between the BRICS countries in digital economy and ITC, and the main topic of the current year’s meeting is “The Sovereignty contra  Interdependence: the search of balance”. A declaration to be passed as a result of the meeting will reflect key principles, common approaches and spheres of cooperation in AI technologies, joint development and mutual recognition of digital skills and provision of non-discriminatory access to the digital infrastructure.
