Tatarstan Prime Minister takes part in the closing ceremony of the Russian Railways sports festival “Loko. We are together”

On 14 September Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Russian Minister of Sports Mikhail Degtyarev and the Director General of the Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov took part in a ceremony of closing and awarding winners of the III railways sports games held in Kazan Gymnastics Center. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Aleksey Pesoshin said: “This festival makes it possible to get acquainted with colleagues from different regions, discuss important issues, feel oneself a part of the whole team and get a unique experience which helps to solve the most complex industrial tasks.”

“I would like to thank the event organizes for holding it at such a high level and its participants for positive emotions,” he concluded. 

In his turn Oleg Belozerov said: “I would like to thank our partner - the Russian Trade Union of Railway Men for supporting this large scale events and special word of thanks to Kazan and hospitable Tatarstan.” 

Russian Minister of Sports Mikhail Degtyarev, who also took part in the event, emphasized: “As our President Valdimir Putin says we need the healthy life style and sports to become a norm. And the Russian Railways is implementing this directive.”  

The festival held in Kazan from 10 to 15 September with participation of 800 employees of the Russian Railways combined three events. Namely: the finals of the Russian Railways sports festival “Loko. We are together”, the finals of the corporate and social project of the Russian Railways company projects “Family Values and Traditions” and the international sports festival of the healthy life style.
