Yevgeniy Varakin becomes the Head of Verkhniy Uslon region

On 13 September Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in a meeting of the Council of Verkhniy Uslon region of the republic which by voting chose Yevgeniy Varakin the Head of the region and Maksim Chermenskiy – the acting Chairman of the Executive Committee of the region.

At the meeting the Council members were also informed about results of the elections held in the republic on 8 September at six municipalities of the region

Addressing the Council members, Roman Shaykhutdinov said:” Verkhniy Uslon municipality as well as the republic in the whole is facing big tasks. To achieve the set goals it is important to continue implementation of the support measures in the regions under the management of the efficient team headed by an authoritative leader – the head of the municipality. I am sure that in case he is elected by you and having your support Yevgeniy Varakin will successfully manage to solve the most difficult tasks for the benefits of the regions and its residents.”
