Rustam Minnikhanov: We attach great attention to development of trade - economic and investments cooperation with Turkey

On 9 September, speaking at his meeting with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan and the Turkish Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Zekeriya Coştu on the sidelines of the Forum Kazan Digital Week at the Kazan Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guests for visiting Tatarstan and taking part in the Forum.  

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “We traditionally attach great attention to development of trade - economic and investments cooperation with Turkey. It is also facilitated by active exchange of delegations, fruitful work of the Turkey General Consulate in Kazan and the Representative Office of Tatarstan in Istanbul and direct flights from Kazan to Istanbul”.

He stated that economic interaction develops actively and first of on in the sphere of investments as Turkish companies have invested about 2bn dollars US into the republic. Several modern plants have been built in Tatarstan mostly due to the support of the Turkish Administration and personally of President Erdogan.
