Construction of new building of Tatarstan Arbitration Court started in Kazan
18.10.2013On October 18 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of Federal Arbitration Court of Volga district Yury Glazov, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Chief Federal Inspector in Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, Chairman of Tatarstan Arbitration Court Nikolay Novikov, Chairman of Tatarstan Supreme Court Ilgiz Gilazov took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of new building of Arbitration Court.
At present, there are 5 buildings in Kazan for Arbitration Court judges with court sessions held in chambers of judges not in special halls.
A 7-store building with an area of 17.000 thousand square meters is designed for 85 judges. The construction works will be funded from the Russian budget under the federal programme.
“Today our dream has become closer. We designed different layouts of the building in different places and at last due to Nikolay Novikov and the federal programme this building will be constructed,” Rustam Minnikhanov said speaking at the ceremony.
According to Tatarstan President, the new building is necessary, because the constitutional state requires effective work of judges and judges need comfortable conditions. Tatarstan President promised to take the building construction under control.
Chairman of Federal Arbitration Court of Volga district Yury Glazov, in his turn, noted the importance of providing comfortable working conditions for judges.
“Due to rapid development of Tatarstan Republic and its economic sector, the judges will be in demand,” Yury Glazov said. According to him, the new building of Tatarstan Arbitration Court can become one of Kazan landmarks as well.
