Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with improvement of Almetyevsk water storage basin

On 1 September during his working trip to Almetyevsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Almetyevsk water storage basin, the improvement of which is getting its finishing touches. 

In 2022 the project of the development of the water basin won the All-Russia competition of small cities, and the Rais of the republic was informed that the main principle of the project was the preservation of nature. The work with the basin ecosystem will make it possible not just to preserve natural areas by the water but also to tell about its biodiversity.

The improvement work comprised creating comfortable and safe environment for recreation of the population and the new public space has new lighting fixtures, outdoor furniture comfortable paths going down to the water as well as boats, gear rental centers and catering kiosks.
