Address from Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on occasion of the Day of Knowledge

On 1 September in his address to residents of the republic on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, congratulating schoolchildren, students, teachers and parents with the holiday, said: “

It is one of the warmest holidays filled with anticipation and lucky memories.

Education in Tatarstan is one of the best in the country and it goes without saying that it is mostly due to our educators – school, vocational colleges and university teachers, kindergarten and additional educational institution tutors. There are about 80 thousand wise mentors in the republic who not only share their knowledge but also raise decent citizens of Russia.

Due to their work our students win Russian and international schools subjects Olympics, pass exams successfully and choose their future professions and learn to be responsible.’

He thanked teachers for their dedicated work, care and kindness and continued that the education system plays an important role in solving challenges Russia is facing today.

“The leadership of the republic will continue creating all necessary conditions for modernization and modern equipment of educational organizations, implementation of the best innovative technologies and best educational programmes, for support of promising projects and integration of educational institutions and enterprises,” the address said.

In conclusion Rustam Minnikhanov wished all schoolchildren and students hard work and new achievements in their studies, all parents – pride in success of their children and teachers – fruitful work and patience and once again congratulated all residents of the republic with the Day of Knowledge.
