Rais of Tatarstan meets newly appointed General Consul of Uzbekistan in Kazan

On 29 August, speaking at his meeting with the newly appointed General Consul of Uzbekistan in Kazan Nodirjon Kasimov, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We highly appreciate the opportunity of expanding cooperation with your country within the framework of friendly Russia-Uzbekistan relations. It is a special merit of Presidents of our countries Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirsiyoyev.”

He also informed that according to results of the last year the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan made 370m US dollars.

In his turn the General Consul thanked for a warm reception and the attention Rustam Minnikhanov attaches to the development of cooperation. “I have already felt that Tatarstan develops at an impressive pace especially in the IT sphere,” Nodirjon Kasimov said.
