On August 29, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Science and Education Ilsur Khadiullin and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited a new multidisciplinary lyceum N133 “Gailә” in the M-14 microdistrict in Kazan.
The educational institution is designed for 1224 students, and 44 teachers will work with them.
The Rais of the republic was informed that the new lyceum will focus on studying modern technologies. The institution plans to open a school of creative industries, as well as a children's drone control center.
Then, in the assembly hall using videoconference link, a solemn ceremony of accepting and commissioning of new educational institutions built in the republic took place, including 8 new schools and 1 additional building (for a total of 10,000 places), as well as 2 kindergartens (for a total of 500 places). A number of educational institutions were built under the Education national project. Minnikhanov emphasized that in total, 21 new educational facilities will open their doors in the new academic year: 11 schools and 10 kindergartens.
The Rais of the republic emphasized that the most important thing in the education system is teachers.
