On 28 August during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Nizhnekamsk Chemical and Technological Institute and Nizhnekamsk Teachers Training College, the capital overhaul in which was completed this year.
Speaking at the Institute, Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is an important educational and scientific center of the republic and called for more active development of dual education.
The Rais of the republic was also told about implementation of a project of organizing a center for supporting skills and training SIBUR Intech specialists, which will help to increase the quality of training working staff for petrochemical industry. With its total area of 3 200 square meters, the center will have 48 teaching rooms for training specialists in 11 educational programmes.
Later the same day Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the Nizhnekamsk Teachers Training College opened in 1981, the capital overhaul in which was also completed this year. Currently the college educates 800 students – future teachers of the primary school and physical training.
After the tour round the college the Head of Nizhnekamsk region Ramil Mullin reported about the development of a cluster approach to training specialists. In particular, there is a work done for brining educational institutions and industrial enterprises of the city closer so that it is possible to train specialists for concrete employers, he said.
