Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of the ICYF Taha Aykhan

On 23 August on the sidelines of the Kazan Global Youth Summit held in the Kazan City Hall the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of the OIC Youth Forum Taha Ayhan held with participation of the regional Minister for Youth Affairs Rinat Sadykov. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Taha Ayhan for joint work in the development of humanitarian partnership of Russia with the OIC countries.” “With your support we are holding the Third Global Youth Summit which has become the legacy of the Kazan Status of the ICYF Youth Capital. This year more than 100 delegates from 43 countries of the world are taking part in it,” he said. 

The Rais of Tatarstan also mentioned forums of young diplomats and entrepreneurs from Islamic countries traditionally held on the sidelines of the KazanForum in May this year and informed about the International Association of Children’s Organizations established on the basis of the Movement of the First. 

“We are interested in the development of youth contacts and projects and participation of young people from Tatarstan in youth programmes of the OIC institutions,” Rustam Minnikhanov added.
