Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a videoconference meeting held by Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of Russian Government

On August 22, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a videoconference meeting held by Russian President Vladimir Putin with the participation of members of the Russian Government, where the Chairman of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina and Russian Minister of Construction and Housing and Utility Services Irek Fayzullin spoke on issues of support of individual housing construction.

Thus, Fayzullin reported that the number of individual residential buildings erected in Russia using the escrow account mechanism can grow from 3,000 in 2025 to 52,000 houses in 2026.

Russian Minister of Construction also reported that since the beginning of the current year the commissioning of individual housing construction projects in Russia has exceeded last year’s figure by 23 per cent.

Speaking at the meeting, Elvira Nabillina said: The Bank of Russia proposes to increase the maximum amount of insurance coverage of escrow accounts by three times - from 10 to 30 million roubles.
