Rustam Minnikhanov meets Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Cyril

On 15 August at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Cyril discussed current work of the Metropolis of the republic preservation and development of Orthodox culture and spiritual and moral values and restoration of religious facilities, in particular the restoration of the complex of the Kazan Virgin Monastery.

Metropolitan Cyril told separately about the Kazan Eparchy clergy serving at the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone, where they go regularly for spiritual guidance of the soldiers as well as about humanitarian missions, which parishes of Tatarstan take a regular part in.
