Rais of Tatarstan takes part in an action “Help to get ready for school”

On 15 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a regional charity action “Help to get ready for school” held before the August Pedagogical meeting in a multi-profile lyceum Innovatika in the settlement of Usady of Laishevo region of the republic. 

The aim of the action held since 2007 is to support families who need additional help while getting a child ready to school by giving children school bags with the full set of necessary stationery, and speaking at the ceremony Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The action is a good tradition of the eve of the new school year. It is highly in demand and needed. This year we will also give support to schoolchildren from our cities supported by us in new regions of Russia.” 

Rais of Tatarstan congratulated everybody with the coming schoolyear and handed in school bags to 20 first graders of the new lyceum.  

By the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year it is planned to provide help to 9 500 first graders and more than 10 thousand 2 - 11 graders in all cities and regions of the republic.
