Rustam Minnikhanov: New composition of the State Council will have to solve a number of important tasks

On 10 August, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the new composition of the State Council of the republic will have to solve a number of important tasks. 

Election of members of the regional State Council of the seventh convocation will be held on September 8 of the current year, and the Rais of the republic emphasized: “It is a big event for our republic, the role of the Parliament will be the defining one for well-being of residents, economic stability, protection of national interests and strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional peace and concord.” 

He also said that one of the most important tasks will be the modernization of the housing utilities sector and the development of the public transport sphere.
