On 12 July at their meeting in Almetyevsk the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tzivilev and the participants of the V International Oil and Gas Youth Forum discussed issues of supporting young scientists, developing the human capital of the fuel and energy complex, expanding industrial cooperation of Russia with friendly countries and prospects of alternative energetics.
The Forum gathered 240 students, lecturers and young specialists and scientists from various regions of Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and talking to them, Sergey Tsivilev laid special emphasis on the topic of making blue-color and engineering jobs more popular.
“Today the profession of an engineer is much different from what it used to be. In addition to technical education these specialists must have IT skills, AI tools, know the basics of economics and business-processes simulation. The profession of an engineer is one that is most in demand and prestigious,” the Minister said.
In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov proposed young specialists to choose Tatarstan for their further career. ”You are in a wonderful city of Almetyevsk which is the oil capital of our republic and has the most comfortable conditions for living, education and work. We are waiting for you in Almetyevsk,” he added.
