New Head of the Kazan Higher Artillery Command School is introduced to Rais of Tatarstan

On 10 July in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of Russian Land Forces Oleg Salyukov, who introduced him the new head of the Kazan Higher Artillery Command School the Major-General Vitaliy Gerasimov.

Before his appointment to Kazan, Vitaliy Gerasimov, who was born in Kazan in 1977, was the Dean of the National Security and Defense Department of the Military Academy of the General Staff of Russian Armed Forces.

He graduated from the Higher Artillery Command School and the Kazan branch of Chelyabinsk Armor Institute and took part in action in the North Caucasus, Syria and the special military operation.
