Rustam Minnikhanov attends a gala-concert of the children’s music charity festival «White Steamer»

On July 9, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the gala-concert of the children’s music charity festival «White steamer», which took part in the concert hall “Academy” of Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The festival was established in 2005 and is a large-scale social project, which supports musically gifted children with difficult destiny: children with disabilities, children who have lost their fathers in the Special military operation, children from low-income families. The festival is aimed at identifying, supporting, rehabilitating children by means of art and help in obtaining professional musical education. The geography of the charity project covers the whole country, including Donbass and Novorossia.

Over 19 years of existence of the project-festival, more than 2,000 children took part in it . More than 100 graduates of the charity program «White Steamer» have entered the leading music schools of Russia and abroad. Many of them continue to participate in the festivals as teachers and guest artists.
