Agreement on construction of phosphorus plant at the Special Economic Zone of Alabuga signed at the Innoporm-2024

On 8 July on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition Innoporm-2024 in Yekaterinburg, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov signed an agreement of cooperation between the Russian Ministry, the Government of Tatarstan and the Rikoflot Company which envisages the construction of a phosphorus manufacturing plant at the Special Economic Zone of Alabuga, which will be the only plant in the country.

The plant is planned to produce 25 thousand tonnes of phosphorus a year with the further expansion of the capacity. The project will cover the demand on this product in the domestic market and provide technological sovereignty in the branch.
