Rustam Minnikhanov: The Family helps to preserve traditional values

On 5 July, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the family is the traditional institute of upbringing and helps to preserve traditional values. 

The Day of the Family, Love and Fidelity is celebrated on 8 July and the Rais of the republic said: “Today this holiday gains special importance. It is issues of demography and patriotism. The family is the chief foundation of our state.”

He stated that it is the family which develops love and respect to the Motherland, culture and native language and asked heads of regions and cities to organize events dedicated to the Day of the Family, paying special attention to families of those ,taking part in the special military operation, and with many children.
