Rais of Tatarstan visits a participant of WWII Nakip Khayrullin in Chistopol

On 1 July, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Chistopol, visited a participant of WWII Nakip Khayrullin, who celebrated his 100th birthday in February of the current year. 

The Rais of the republic congratulated the war veteran with his 100th anniversary and emphasized that the whole life of Nakip (Mubarakshinovich) Khayrullin is a real example of dedicated service to the Motherland. Rustam Minnikhanov also handed him in the Medal “100 years of Establishment of TASSR” and a memorial gift. 

Nakip Khayrullin, who was born on 25 February 1924 in the Village of Kargali of Chistopol region of the republic, went to the front in the beginning of 1943 and took part in action in Belarus, Ukraine, Poland and commanded soldiers who attacked Berlin. He was handed in a number of awards for his bravery and courage. 

After the Victory Nakip Khayrullin was engaged in organizing field work in Germany. After graduating the Kazan Pedagogical Institute in 1951 he worked in his native village of Kargali first as a teacher and then the director of the local school. He raised three children and has three grand- and four grand-grand-children.
