Rustam Minnikhanov meets Hokim of Navoi Region in Uzbekistan

On 27 June the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Uzbekistan, had a meeting with the Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that leaders of both countries attach special attention to the inter-regional cooperation and support all initiatives. 

“Tatarstan is ready to facilitate stepping up the interaction of Russia and Uzbekistan. Last year the trade turnover between our republics made 370m US dollars,” he said. 

The parties also discussed joint projects under implementation in Navoi, in particular the KIP-Master project.
