Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Li Yifei

On June 26, during his working visit to Urumqi (China), the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Deputy Secretary of the Committee of the Communist Party of China of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Li Yifei.

The meeting participants emphasized that in accordance with the joint statements of the leaders of the two countries on plans for economic cooperation, it is necessary to increase the volume of trade in goods and services, deepen ties in financial, industrial-technological and transport-logistics industries. Minnikhanov said that since last year Tatarstan hosts a large business forum «ROSTKI», aimed at expanding Russia’s business contacts with China. The Rais of the republic invited business circles of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to take part in the forum.
