Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: The total housing construction plan of the republic is fulfilled by 70 %

On 22 June, speaking at a regional meeting held in the Government House of the republic by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin and all municipalities, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that as of 22 June  the total housing construction plan of the republic has been fulfilled by 70 %, with 2m 196 thousand square meters having been commissioned.

He informed about the percentage of work fulfilled in construction of commercial, individual and social mortgage programmes and the implementation of the programme of providing housing for certain groups of residents, such as orphans, young families, families with many children and forced migrants. 

Marat Ayzatullin told that in the end of May of the current year the republic has allocated an additional subsidy of 122m rubles on events aimed at supporting housing construction by the federal programme “Housing”.

He also informed participants of the meeting about the percentage of the implementation of construction state and regional programmes of the comprehensive development of rural territories, education, healthcare, sports, ecology, improvement of public spaces, potable water provision, culture and youth policy as well as the amount of work done by the programmes of modernization and capital overhaul of water treatment facilities, repairs of gas distribution networks and boiler plants replacement

The Minister attached special attention to the topic of labour safety at construction sites and informed that since the beginning of the current year self-regulating organizations have carried out 1 283checks and specialists of the State Construction Surveillance – 601 checks of construction sites having issued 57 administrative responsibility acts.
