Rustam Minnikhanov starts a meeting with the moment of silence in the Day of Remembrance and Mourning

On 22 June, the Day of Remembrance and Mourning, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov began a regional meeting with the moment of silence. 

“Today remembrance events are held in all cities and regions. The VI All-Russia Festival of Historical Reconstruction Elbadan-2024 will be held today and tomorrow in the village of Alvidino the birthplace of the Hero of the Soviet Union Petr Gavrilov, the defender of the Brest Fortress. The event has proved to be one of the most large scale one and more than 14 thousand people are expected to take part in it. The aim of the festival is to preserve historical memory and to promote patriotism,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and gave an errand to hold all events at a high organizational level, paying special attention to safety issues.
