Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates employees of the healthcare system with their professional holiday

In his address on the occasion of the Health Worker Day, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated employees of the healthcare system with their professional holiday and said:” For doctors, nurses and paramedics, who have thrown in their lot with medicine, it is not just a profession but a real vocation. You save lives and help to preserve the most valuable thing we have – our health. We trust you our worries and problems, counting on your help. All this is what have always made the profession of the medical workers highly respected and venerated.

Work of medical workers has been in demand at all times.  Medics manifested themselves to be brave and dedicated during pandemic which made it possible to save lives of many residents of the republic. Today, answering the call of the heart, many our doctors are on the front line and fulfill their professional duty at the special military operation, helping the wounded, carrying out the most complicated surgery in filed hospitals and helping civil residents at front-line territories. Bless your heart and a low bow to you!

Tatarstan attaches great attention to modernization of the healthcare system by building modern hospitals and high tech medical centers and carrying out overhaul of more than 100 medical facilities every year. But you – the professionals- are the core of this system.

Today we are facing important and high-demand tasks of further increasing healthcare efficiency, implementing modern technologies and practices, improving the quality and affordability of medical services and training young doctors. I am sure that joining our efforts we will solve all these tasks.”

In conclusion he thanked all medical workers for their hard and selfless work and wished them happiness, prosperity to them and their families, good health, peace and all the best.
