Rustam Minnikhanov attends the Russian Triathlon Championship in Almetyevsk

On June 15, during his working visit to Almetyevsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with the Head of Almetyevsk Timur Nagumanov attended the Russian Triathlon Championship.

Triathlon is a sport that combines three disciplines: swimming, cycling and running. The distance of the Almetyevsk triathlon includes swimming - 750 meters, cycling stage - 20 kilometers, running stage - 5 kilometers. Participants should overcome all stages without interruption.

Rustam Minnikhanov visited the City Lake, where the mass swim started. There he observed the course of the competition, and also talked to athletes. The Rais of the republic also got acquainted with the improvement of the beach and appreciated the exhibition of souvenirs of local masters. The Russian Triathlon Championship takes place from 14 to 16 June. As many as 786 athletes from 20 regions of Russia, including 36 paratriathlers, are taking part in the contest.
