Rais of Tatarstan signs an Agreement on development of table tennis in the republic

On 7 June on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of signing an agreement with the Russian Table Tennis Federation on the development of table tennis in the republic. 

Currently more than 1 800 athletes are doing table tennis in 20 sports schools of the republic and the Kazan Olympic Reserve School. 

For creation of necessary conditions for training and organizing competitions of different level it is planned to build five specialized sports gyms in the republic and the Russian Table Tennis Federation is ready to finance the construction.
