On 6 June, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Tomsk region Vladimir Mazur on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that according to last official information the trade turnover between the regions makes about 1.6bn rubles, with Tatarstan delivering trucks, packaging products, medical equipment and medications and receiving chemical products and cables.
“There are good prospects for industrial cooperation in the spheres of machine-building, petrochemicals and energetics. To increase mutually beneficial cooperation our republic is ready to offer dump trucks, machinery for oil producing complex, log hauler and agricultural machinery,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized and thanked the administration of the region for taking part in the KazanForum, as Tomsk region was the only entity of Siberia federal district that showed the regional exposition.
In his turn the Governor informed that the delegation of his region had many useful meetings at the KazanForum and said: “We have many petrochemical projects and we are interested in experience of Tatarstan in this sphere.”
In the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov and Vladimir Mazur signed an Activity Plan on implementation of the agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical and social and cultural cooperation between Governments of the republic and the region for 2025-2027.
