Address from Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of celebrations of the Day of the Russian Language and the 225th birthday of Aleksandr Pushkin

In his address on the occasion of celebrations of the Day of the Russian Language and the 225th birthday of Aleksandr Pushkin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the event and said: “Russian language is a unique heritage of the whole humankind. It is due to it that it is possible to preserve and pass the authenticity of Russian people, spiritual and moral values and richness and beauty of cultures of all ethnicities of Russia to next generations.”

“Aleksandr Pushkin had a gust of soul of people and accurately interpreted esthetics of their speech which soaked up all colors of life reflecting the imagery of thinking, wisdom of centuries and energy of modern time”.

“In his works Pushkin praised eternal qualities of a man and citizens such as loyalty to Fatherland, being honest to oneself and other people, courage, justice and thirst for knowledge. 

Immortal heritage of Pushkin is marked for its unfailing versatility. He is a symbol of strength, might, high spirituality and immensity of the Russian world.”

In conclusion Rustam Minnikhanov wished everyone firmness of spirit, good thoughts and their happy realization.
