On 5 June in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Grid Company, which discussed issues of reliability of the electricity supply of the company customers, results of operational and financial and economic activities, implementation of the company capital construction plan in the first quarter of the current year and implementation of activities in consolidation of the electricity supply network facilities.
The board was shown the indexes characterizing reliability of electricity supply and their dynamics according to the results on the first three months of 2024. It was reported that there is a stable trend to the decrease of the share of technological faults with blackouts and it was said that the company attaches a substantial attention to uninterrupted customers’ electricity supply when carrying out planned work with cutting the SAIDI by 35 per cent and the SAIFI – by 20 per cent on overage during the last three years.
Participants of the meeting were informed that according to the results of the first three months of 2024 the Company supplied about 7 290.1m kWh of electricity which was by 37 per cent more than during the same period last year. As for electricity consumption, it was said that in the first quarter of the current year it grew by 44 per cent in the republic.
Participants of the meeting also discussed the implementation of the capital construction plan in 2024 and the financing sources of such large and socially important projects as the reconstruction of the Toyma-2 substation, reconstruction of the Zapadnay and Zapadnaya-Kremlyovksaya cable pole lines and measures aimed at increasing reliability of customers’ electricity supply and the quality of electricity in distribution grids.
