Rustam Minnikhanov visits a number of automotive industrial enterprises in Ulyanovsk

On 4 June during his working trip to Ulyanovsk the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Oleg Korobchenko, the Chairman of the Sollers Company Board Adil Shirinov and other officials visited a number of automotive industrial enterprises in the city.

At the Ulyanovsk Automotive Plant, which is a part on the SOLLERS Auto Concern since 2000, Rustam Minnikhanov was told about the 80-year long history of the enterprise and the range of the manufactured UAZ cars, such as all-wheel-drive SUVs and low tonnage station wagons. The Rais of the republic also looked round the plant shops where he was told about manufacture of Sollers Argo low-tonnage trucks, the assembly line of which was commissioned in November 2022 in Tatarstan and moved to the Ulyanovsk plant in spring 2023.

Later the same day Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the Avtodom Company which manufactures more than 20 models on the basis of the UAZ Profi special purpose vehicles for more than 15 years.
