We are opening a data center, which is a huge project implemented by the Rosatom Corporation. It is the largest data center in the Volga Federal Districts and what is important is that technological solutions for it were developed taking into consideration the import-replacement strategy and satisfy all modern reliability and safety standards. We are thankful for your trust in Tatarstan and having chosen the Innopolis Special Economic Zone as a site for building the data center.”
In his turn Aleksey Likhachev said: “Development of our own digital solutions and construction of such large IT facilities as data centers, help the state corporation to solve important state and branch tasks and strengthen positions of the Rosatom as a global technological leader. We attach great attention to ensuring the operation of critical information infrastructure, which needs a reliable basis, namely the geologically distributed and fault resistance network of data centers. The opening of the new data center is the next and very important step to reaching the aim set forth by the Russian President in achievement of technological sovereignty of our country.”
The first stage of the data center will house 1000 rack units and after launching the second stage their number will double and make the total capacity of the center 16 Mwatt.
