Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the innovative solutions of the residents of the Innopolis SEZ and the projects of Innopolis University

On June 3, during his working visit to Innopolis, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shaykhutdinov and Mayor of the city of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleev visited the technopark in the sphere of high technologies “InnoPark”.

Roman Shaykhutdinov reported that Innopolis, in addition to software development, is continuing its progressive development in the production direction. Today, 26 companies are already operating in the high-tech technology park “InnoPark”.

Director General of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone Renat Khalimov noted that the development of industrial sites and high-tech production is one of the main focuses of the special economic zone. The area of ​​the technology park occupies 12,596 square meters, including more than 10,000 of them for production.

Then the Rais (Head) Tatarstan got acquainted with innovative products of industrial centers of Innopolis University, namely, the new laboratory-showroom «Industry 4.0» created in «InnoPark» on the basis of the Advanced Engineering School as a center for demonstrating and popularizing technologies, teaching and training students, and in the future, personnel for industrial enterprises, IT companies and developers. On the area of 340 square meters exhibited samples of robots, unmanned aerial vehicles and stands of digital projects.

Rustam Minnikhanov visited the production sites of the residents of the special economic zone «Innopolis» and the University of Innopolis and got acquainted with their activities.

Namely, RUSDRONOPORT, which carries out the first mass production of droneports on the Russian market - robotic UAV-based stations for various tasks and customer needs and «Mars Technologies» company, which launched a modern innovative enterprise developing and producing hardware and software systems, specialized software and electronic equipment of world level.
