Rustam Minnikhanov hands in awards to the winners of the EcoVesna contest under the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign

On June 1, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and all municipalities of the republic taking part in it via videoconference, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov summed up the results of EcoVesna (EcoSpring) contest among municipalities of Tatarstan and provided data on the results of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign.

This year «EcoVesna» is an eight-week marathon, where each week was devoted to a separate topic. In total, 1,200 applications were received for the contest. Shadrikov spoke about the people of Tatarstan, who can be called heroes in the environmental protection.
