On 30 May Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in a ceremony of opening the forum in the sphere of block chain technologies and crypto industry Kazan Cryptoforum 2024 held in the Rameev IT Park in Kazan with participation of representatives of the largest Russian mining companies, block chain projects developers, crypto influencers and opinion leaders.
Speaking at the ceremony, Roman Shaykhutdinov stated that Tatarstan carries out targeted work in the development of IT industry, including the development of digital financial products. It houses hubs and competence centers of large crediting organizations, a number of companies develop block chain sphere projects in Innopolis and there is a crypto polygon established in the Rameev IT park, he informed. At the same time the absence of rules and state regulations in this sphere result in risks of illegal use of crypto currencies and moving of the new branch into informal economy and that is why Tatarstan came forward with the initiative of establishment of a “digital sandbox” for testing block chain projects in the Rameev IT park which should bring real outcomes, he concluded.
Participants of the forum will discuss a number of issues such as crypto industry regulation, new digital financial tools, mining activity and others, and on the sidelines of the forum there is also an exhibition of block chain and crypto industry projects, where such companies as Hexagon (the first Tatarstan company for crypto currency mining ), AML Crypto ( develops tools for block chain analytics and investigation of crypto fraud cases all over the world) and others show there developments.
