Rais of Tatarstan gives an errand to organize holidays of national cultures at high level

On 25 May at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that all traditional festivities in the republic should be held at the highest level.

The list of festivities starts with the Russian national holiday Karavon in Laishevo region on 26 May and Tatar national holiday Sabantuy will be held in regional centers and settlements on 8-9 June, in Naberezhnyye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk on 15 June and in Kazan on 23 June.

In June and July there will also be holidays of Mari, Udmurt, Mordvinian, Chuvash and Kryashen cultures held in the republic and Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “These holidays should be help properly with attaching special attention to safety provision.”
