Address from Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of Russian public holiday Karavon

In his address on the occasion of Russian public holiday Karavon the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  congratulated residents of the republic with the holiday and wrote:

“Following a good long centuries’ tradition the Settlement of Nikolskoye gives a warm welcome to numerous guests from cities and villages of Tatarstan and from various places of our great country. From year to year it involves all people fascinated by Russian culture into its sunny circulation.

The unique song and customs holiday keeps bringing us joy with its deep spiritual content and demonstrates the unbroken bond of generations. As ever before Karavon once again collects a circle dance accompanied by the chime of bells and folklore songs, uniting kindness and love to native culture”.

“Karavon has always been and remains a long-awaited and beloved holiday for all representatives of the  multi-ethnic Tatarstan and a meeting place of near and dear ones that is especially important on the Year of the Family,” Rustam Minnikhanov said and wished all participants and guests of the holiday spring mood, happiness, good health and prosperity.
