Rustam Minnikhanov expresses his condolences on occasion of the tragic death of Iran President Ebrahim Raisi

In his condolences on occasion of the tragic death of Iran President Ebrahim Raisi, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “.

“With deep sadness people of Tatarstan have learned the news about the tragic death of Iran President Ebrahim Raisi and persons accompanying him in the helicopter crash in the East Azerbaijan Province.

It is a huge and irreparable loss for the Iranian community and all friends of Iran all over the world. I am grateful to my life for personally having known Mister Raisi who attached great attention to the development of Tatarstan-Iran cooperation aimed at strengthening friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation. Cherished memory and prayers about Ebrahim Raisi will always be burning in our hearts. I sincerely share this loss. Tatarstan is deeply mourning together with you and the fraternal Iranian people.”

The condolences have been also sent to the Iran Foreign Ministry and to the Administration of the East Azerbaijan Province.
