Rustam Minnikhanov at his meeting with a delegation from the Russian Orthodox Church: Your participation in events of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World” is very important

On 14 May in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with a delegation from the Russian Orthodox Church headed by the Vicar of His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Antony, the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk.

During its visit to Kazan the delegation will take part in events of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World” and, speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “Your participation is very important. The new format of our forum was set by His Holiness the Patriarch Cyril who personally took part in it. We are sincerely grateful to him for such an active participation and attention given to our republic.”

He stressed the importance of consolidation of efforts in strengthening traditional spiritual values and inter-ethnic and inter-religious concord and said that common efforts in supporting participants of the special military operation and their families have gained a special meaning.
