On 14 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Sergey Gustov took part (via videoconference) in a ceremony of launching a gas pipeline in Nizhnekamsk region of the republic.
The new gas pipeline with the length of 8 kilometers was laid within the programme of social gasification and has three gas distribution units and speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minikhanov said: ”The commissioning of this facility will provide gas supply to more than 100 households in two allotment societies of the region. This is a landmark event for our republic. In total during the fulfillment of gasification programme in the republic more than 18 500 households were connected to gas supply. Speaicla words of thanks to Russian President for implementation of this programme and to the administration of the Gazprom Company. This is a very serious social task in interests of our country.”
In his turn Sergey Gustov stated that the programme is going on at a very high rate in the republic and added: “I thank the Administration of Tatarstan for its support and participation in implementation of this large scale Presidential project. I think we will reach 100 per cent gasification of the republic in the nearest years by connecting all houses in allotment societies to gas supply.”
