Rustam Minnikhanov visits automated cattle farm for 150 heads in Rybnaya Sloboda region

On 11 May during his working trip to Rybnaya Sloboda region of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of the region Radik Islyamov and the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov visited an automated farm for 150 cows which has equipment for robotized milking.

The construction was financed partly from a grant from the regional Ministry of Agriculture and the access road to the farm was built by the regional programme of “Construction of Access Roads to Farms Livestock Premises”.

At the agricultural products exposition organized at the farm, Rustam Minnikhanov talked to heads of farms, investors and heads of rural settlements of the region, and Radik Islyamov reported about sowing progress and the situation in cattle breeding. He said that local farmers take part in regional programs aimed at providing support to them.

In his turn Marat Zyabbarov reminded about subsidies both from regional and federal budgets for farmers, including those for developing cattle-breeding and supporting growers. He stated that in the whole the situation in the region is stable and positive.
