Rais of Tatarstan meets President of Guinea-Bissau

On 4 April, speaking at his meeting with the President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embal on the sidelines of the 15th OIC Summit in Gambia, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Our meeting at the Summit is a good opportunity to learn more about the economic and industrial potential and to discuss cooperation prospects.” 

He told that the republic actively works with the external world and exports about 50 per cent of its goods. “Tatarstan is interested in promoting produce of a number of its enterprises into your country,” he said. 

Earlier it became known that the President of Guinea-Bissau confirmed his intent to take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow on 9 May and the participants of the meeting discussed possibility of a visit to Tatarstan during the coming trip to Russia.
