Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Gambia Adama Barrow

On 4 April, speaking at his meeting with the President of Gambia Adama Barrow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a visit to the City of Banjul, said:” Relations of the Russian Federation with African countries have always developed constructively. There are good opportunities for further development of this cooperation. In its turn Tatarstan is interested in interaction with your country within the framework of Russia-Gambia relations.” 

The Rais of the republic also briefly told about Tatarstan and its economic and industrial potential. 

In addition the participants of the meeting discussed the importance of holding the OIC Summit under current situation.
